Credits are only used when you import and process worksheets with AI. Processing costs 1 credit per PDF page, regardless of page size. Editing, searching, reviewing, and sharing your .qb files do not use credits.

No. Credits never expire. Purchased credits sync across all supported devices linked to the same iCloud account, so you can use them anytime.

Yes. You receive 20 free credits when you first install the app with an iCloud account. Additional installs on devices linked to the same iCloud account do not receive extra free credits.

No. You are charged only when an import is completed successfully. If you cancel the import or it fails before it completes successfully, no credits are charged.

Partially. Qubase can parse handwritten notes in PDFs into text. We do not impose restrictions on transcribing handwritten notes. However, our third-party AI provider may enforce security, safety, or copyright policies that can prevent some handwritten content from being converted to text.

Qubase does not interpret image content in imported PDFs. However, it can detect when an image is present and insert a tag in the output at that location, including the caption when available.

It can convert scanned notes into text, depending on image quality.

Qubase saves your data in a .qb file, which acts as a question library for your imported worksheets. You can share .qb files with colleagues through common channels like email or cloud storage, and they can open and edit them in Qubase for free.
